Part II - Finally there
We arrived on a Monday. Vinadio is a fortress - these Fighter Ducks seem to have assembled on the outside - ready to attack any minute. Come on lads - the war is over. And by the way - are you going to BACK into the fortress?
I was allowed to rest with two other Deuxchevauxes from Norway. Robert, however took a
tour around and found a cool looking France 3 almost as chic as me.
The Lady and Robert are wandering around the Duckpark. This flame spitting Extreme Duck must be eating Buffalo Wings for supper. Or is it looks only?
My family thought we were late - no other possible explanation for the high revving departure from Col de Lombarda. Boy were they surprised to watch the Monday influx of ducks!
Some ducks were decorated like cows . . .
An air traffic controllers dream: Ducks in 3 lanes. What did we learn about altitude control again?
. . sold the trailer last week . . thought I wouldn't need it . . that we a mistake . . . well, if I just weld a hinge on the wheel barrow handles . .
While I rested at the camp, my family hiked uphill to get a panoramic view of the campsite. Everything not tres, not fields and not roofs are Ducks
After having spent hours looking at various modification of birds, my Driver returned with wild expressions in his eyes. He mumbled "king of the hills" and "all terrain" while making notes and strange calculations. What was he thinking about? Look at the picture blow that I stole from him while he was asleep: Was he actually about to convert me into some kind of Ducadill Dundee? Over my dead chassis.
During the warm days, the kids enjoyed the river flowing just behind our campsite.
Have a look at some of the neat birds we met . . .
My family went AMOK at the parts store and bought me a new air filter box, front bumper rubbers and a new gasoline filler cap. The air filter and the cap were installed immidiately.
